정형외과 의사인 장종훈 선생이 우리 연구실에서 석사학위를 받았다. 문자그대로 낮에는 환자 수술을 하고 밤에는 논문 쓰고 연구하는 주경야독끝에 받은 것이라본인도 굉장히 뿌듯할 것이라 생각한다. 장선생의 앞날에 많은 학문적 성취가 있기를 기원한다.

마무리의 또 다른 작업영문으로 조선시대 미라에 대한 연구를 종합한 책을 펴냈다는 이야기를 했다. 조선시대 미라에 대한 한글 책을 준비하고 있다.물론 필자 혼자 하는 것은 아니며 공동작업을 지난 번 고고기생충historylibrary.net조선시대 회곽묘와 미라에 대한 한글 책을 준비 중이다. 올해 안에 출판될 것이라 믿는다.

내년의 일정: 일본에서 고병리학 대담집 출간 준비일본의 고고학 관련 전문 잡지사 하면 두 군데가 가장 유명한데 그 둘 중 한 군데에서 고병리학 관련 대담집을 일본의 교수와 함께 출간하자는 제안을 받은 바, 우리가 준비한 대담집의 컨텐츠historylibrary.net일본 굴지의 고고학관련 출판사 웅산각에서 일본의 고병리학의 미래를 조망하는 대담집을 준비해달라는 요청을 받았다.
